A native Haligonian, Sonia spent her early years in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.  She attended Saint Mary’s University, and Information Technology Institute, both in Halifax, NS.  After working in the IT industry for 8 years in both the US and Halifax, NS, Sonia decided to make a career move and join her husband in running, and working for, their business, Lakeland Realty.  In addition to years of problem solving and customer service experience, Sonia and her husband have renovated 3 properties and have extensive knowledge in the home renovation process.  Sonia and her husband, Alastair, live on beautiful Lewis Lake in East Hants with their three precious children, William, Callum, and Gwynneth.
